Dacia Spring can be ordered again

Dacia Spring

Dacia dealers have reopened the order catalogues for the brand's first electric model, Spring. Thus, in addition to those on the waiting list and those who have already made a reservation, they will now be able to place orders to purchase the model and other people. Still, deliveries will be made starting with September, favouring people who are already in the database.

Thus, those interested will order the Comfort Plus version of the Spring model equipped with the Media Nav system, manual air conditioning, front-rear electric windows, and a type 2 charging cable. Optionally you can order the charging cable for fast stations, for the price of 300 euros. The version costs 18,100 euros and has no other options to choose from, the cheapest electric car in Europe.

According to company officials, the model has a range of 230 km according to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure) cycle, consisting of 57% urban driving, 25% suburban driving, 18% driving the highway.

Dacia Spring has a range of 305 kilometres according to the WLTP City cycle, which includes only the urban part of the approved cycle. A small calculation shows us that, at a daily average of 40 kilometres in urban areas, Spring has a range of almost eight days with a single charge of batteries that have a capacity of 26.8 KWh and that powers the 33 KW engine ( 45 horsepower). Of course, this autonomy is influenced by several factors, such as the driver's driving style, the outside temperature and the load level of the car. Still, this aspect is valid for any model on the market.
