Hyundai has just shown off the futuristic styling of the next-generation Kona, one of its best-selling vehicles, in an all-electric form. The revised appearance of this compact SUV refreshes a formerly outmoded image while also better reflecting the advanced technology found within, most notably in the vehicle's flexible powertrain options.
Remember there will be four distinct forms of this model: fully electric (EV), hybrid, gas-powered, and the sporty N Line. Despite their shared architecture and identifiers, they each have their unique flavor.
Hyundai's design and development teams started work on the next-generation Hyundai Kona electric variant first, unlike most vehicles marketed with numerous powertrains, and then carried over the primary characteristics to the aesthetics of the other models. The company asserts that its novel technique allows them to implement a technologically focused design concept across all vehicle trim levels. As a result, they will all adopt a considerably more contemporary look from now on.
The 2023 Hyundai Kona has developed into a more robust SUV with a decidedly more daring and even futuristic appearance, despite its continued emphasis on the city. In particular, its length increases to 4.35 meters or 15 centimeters more than its predecessor. In addition to being 60 mm longer in the wheelbase and 25 mm wider than its predecessor, this vehicle has also grown in width.
