High-quality materials and the building's low carbon footprint ensure a relaxing holiday with a clear conscience. For example, the thermal water comes from nearby springs and is turbines to generate energy for the entire complex. The hotel offers a neat design that is modern and alpine and has 70 rooms with large windows and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Peanut Lodge & Winstub, Val d'Illiez (Wallis)
In the heart of the village of Val d'Illiez, the operation of a new hotel has been giving new life to a historic and completely renovated building since December 2021. The Peanut Lodge & Winstub is aimed at a mountain enthusiast audience who loves summer hikes as much as winter adventures in the glittering deep snow. The 14 atypical rooms on two floors are modeled on the interior of mountain huts and caravans and offer every comfort. The hosts serve dishes to share on the ground floor in the Winstub restaurant, and a unique indoor pétanque lane awaits guests in the Carnotzet in the basement.

Built-in the shape of a Z, it will include around fifty rooms and suites, conference rooms, several restaurants, a bar, a cafe lounge, and a wellness area. Guests can go straight to the countryside or the cross-country ski run, thanks to the pitched roofs. The hotel combines history and modernity and will stand next to the museum on the former Hotel des Horlogers. The hotel is the only one of its kind in the valley and will attract business and leisure guests to the romantic Lac de Joux banks.
The morning, Vitznau (Lucerne-Vierwaldstättersee)
"The morning" at the foot of the Rigi is embedded in the idyllic mountain landscape of Central Switzerland. It is the world's first Neuro Campus Hotel, a combination of innovation and research in cuisine and music. The multi-story building of "Das Morgen" has 54 rooms, several restaurant areas, a market hall, and tailor-made offers for very different groups of guests: from hotel guests to seminar visitors and students to musicians. Innovative technology is at the center of the concept: booking, check-in, room settings such as the light are activated directly via an app. The complex will open its doors in March 2022.
