Skoda Enyaq RS iV: fast, efficient, and environmentally friendly

Skoda Enyaq RS iV: fast, efficient, and environmentally friendly

The Skoda Enyaq RS iV is shown by Skoda AUTO: With the new top version of the battery-electric SUV, Skoda AUTO is adding a second all-electric model to its sporty RS line. The Skoda Enyaq COUPE RS iV is the first model in this line. With this move, the Czech automaker is taking its push for electric cars to a whole new level. By 2026, three more completely new e-models will be on the market. The goal is to have a full line of electric cars, from small cars to 7-seaters, and to increase the number of BEVs sold in Europe to more than 70% by 2030.

The Skoda Enyaq RS iV has two electric motors and an all-wheel drive system, just like the Enyaq Coupe iV version. The total system output is 220 kW, and the WLTP cycle range is over 500 km. With a maximum charging power of 135 kW, compatible charging points can charge the car even faster. Skoda is adding two new option packages, Advanced and Maxx, to the Skoda Enyaq RS iV. These add to the two Design Selections, RS Lounge and RS Suite, and the extensive standard and safety equipment. The Skoda Enyaq RS iV, made in the Czech Republic, also has a lot of recycled and reusable parts.

The new Skoda Enyaq RS iV is the second model in Skoda's sporty RS line that is all-electric. The electric SUV looks sporty and emotional, just like the Enyaq COUPE RS iV, and it has the most powerful drivetrain in Skoda's lineup right now. The system output of the two electric motors, one on the front axle and one on the back axle, is 220 kW, and the maximum torque of 460 Nm is sent to all four wheels through the all-wheel drive. Its top speed is 20 km/h faster than the other Skoda Enyaq iV models, at 180 km/h. The WLTP cycle gives it a maximum range of over 500 kilometers, which is made possible by its 82 kWh battery, high energy efficiency, and outstanding drag coefficient.

The Skoda Enyaq RS iV is easy to drive because it comes standard with sports suspension, progressive steering, and all-wheel drive. It also has a lot of room for up to five people, which makes it a great car for everyday use. The Volkswagen Group's Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB), which has built-in benefits like the lack of a center tunnel and a long wheelbase of 2,768 millimeters, ensures a lot of legroom, especially in the back. The trunk can hold up to 585 liters of things, and when the back seats are folded down, it can hold up to 1710 liters. Models from the Enyaq iV family are made in Mladá Boleslav. This makes Skoda's main plant the only place in Europe outside of Germany where MEB models are made.

Since the Skoda Enyaq iV is always online, over-the-air updates can be used to keep the software in the car up to date. In addition to podcasts and videos, you can also access vehicle functions like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) whenever you want. Also, many Skoda Connect services are made especially for electric cars. The Skoda Enyaq iV also has state-of-the-art active and passive safety features. The electric SUV can come with up to nine airbags and all of Skoda's current safety systems. Full LED matrix headlights are standard. Travel Assist now has new features like Urban Evasive Steering Support, which can detect parked cars, roadwork, traffic islands, and intersections, among other things, and help you avoid a collision.

Drivers of the new Skoda Enyaq RS iV will be able to take advantage of the Skoda iV ecosystem and charge their cars at more than 400,000 locations across Europe with a single POWERPASS card. This also includes about 15,000 fast charging stations in more than 5,000 places. You can charge up to 135 kW at compatible charging stations, which makes charging even faster. With the new "Plug & Charge" feature, the Enyaq RS iV can also be charged without a card at special charging points. It will automatically recognize itself. Skoda AUTO's Skoda iV Charger Wallboxes come in three different versions, and installation is included if you ask for it. Depending on the laws in each country, electric vehicles can get many benefits, such as tax breaks, cash bonuses, the ability to use special bus and environmental lanes, free parking in city centers, and easy access to local public transportation.
