Mercedes-Benz Trucks has partnered with Coca-Cola to bring its eActros electric truck to the Austrian market as part of the Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour. The eActros is the first all-electric truck from Mercedes-Benz, and it offers a range of benefits for urban distribution transport, such as high efficiency, low emissions, and fast charging.
The eActros will accompany the Coca-Cola trucks in several cities across Austria, including Vienna, Graz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The tour started on December 1st and ended on December 8th, featuring festive decorations, music, games, and free samples of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.
The eActros is more than just a truck
The Mercedes-Benz eActros is not only a vehicle for transporting goods. It is also part of an integrated solution that includes eConsulting and digital services. These services aim to help customers make the transition to net-zero local emissions by providing them with tailored advice, support, and solutions.
For example, customers can use the eConsulting service to get personalized recommendations on how to optimize their fleet operations with electric trucks. They can also access digital solutions such as the eActros app, which allows them to monitor their truck’s performance, location, battery status, and charging options.
The eActros also comes with proven assistance systems from Mercedes-Benz Trucks that enhance safety and comfort for drivers. These systems include Stability Control Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist and Sideguard Assist to Active Brake Assist 5, tire pressure monitoring, and Roll Control Assist. The cab also features a new fire detection and alarm system that warns drivers in case of an emergency.
