Peugeot introduces public electric vehicle charging stations

Peugeot has announced opening three more ports of access to the vehicle-sharing program for electric vehicles. The terminals were installed due to the automaker's collaboration with the Marche Group grocery and emporium chain (St. Marche and Empório Santa Maria), Flou, UCorp's new platform for nano-leasing of electric cars, and Tupinambá, Brazil's leading electric mobility startup. The service will initially be available in Sao Paulo, with plans to expand to other cities throughout Brazil.

The Flou app, which can now be downloaded from the app stores for iOS and Android, powers the shared electric vehicle system (car sharing). The launch aims to provide the general public with a completely digital, intuitive, and differentiated experience, as well as to promote the concept of simple and fluid sustainable mobility to democratize the use of electrified vehicles and provide a differentiated (and even longer-lasting) experience of standard test drives.

The service is launched by the recently launched electromagnetic Peugeot e-2008 electric SUV. The vehicle is urban, sturdy, and one-of-a-kind, with a high-performance battery that ensures a range of 345 km (WLTP cycle) and can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes at a 100 kW charging station. The new Peugeot e-2008 has an unmistakable feline appearance, complete with full LED headlights and impressive saber jaws. Already in the back, the model has LED flashlights that resemble the lion's claws. Inside, the car has the only Peugeot i-Cockpit 3D, which provides a wealth of capability for intuitive and exceptional driving, as well as 3D GPS navigation and control buttons known as toggle switches.

The general public can also enjoy the unique driving experience of the new Peugeot e-2008 GT at any e-Center dealership, or they can pick how much time they want to spend with the model via the vehicle sharing program. Initially installed in So Paulo, at St. Marche units in Alphaville and Itaim Bibi, as well as at Empório Santa Maria in Jardim Paulistano, To utilize the service, simply download the Flou application (Apple Store or Google Play) and register with a valid CNH and credit card. The cost is 0.22 Euro per minute or 13.31 Euro per hour. However, the user can rent for as long as he likes, with fees decreasing as time passes. Anyone renting a Peugeot e-2008 can recharge it for free at the Tupinambá stations situated at these locations, which can be accessed by downloading the Tupinambá app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

It's worth noting that Peugeot also offers a subscription service for the new Peugeot e-2008 through Stellantis' Peugeot ASSINATURA by FLUA! service in Brazil. In collaboration with the brand's e-CENTERS dealership network, the service provides a subscription to brand-new vehicles. The subscriber gets the full experience of owning a car. They pay fixed monthly rates and don't worry about IPVA, taxes, insurance, or regular maintenance. They also get the promise of tow truck help around the country 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Peugeot has stated its intention to supply a new range of models for the Brazilian market and an entire chain of related services and products to ensure a full cycle of support to consumers who believe in and bet on this new road of mobility.

These initiatives are simply a part of the electric mobility ecosystem, which includes many collaborations aimed at providing electric vehicle users with the best possible experience conceived from mapping the electrification journey, from pre-purchase to after-sales, to identify the primary needs and anticipate solutions, ensuring the customer's peace of mind.
