The new Puma ST Powershift is Ford's newest addition to the performance car lineup. It has a mild-hybrid system powered by 48 volts, which allows for greater potential and produces 170 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque at peak performance. It has a 1.0-liter engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters for manual gear selection.
Many honors have been given to the 1.0 liter Ford EcoBoost engine, but the Ford Puma ST Powershift is the most powerful variant. The lithium-ion battery can be recharged more quickly because of the mild-hybrid system's accelerated activation of energy recovery compared to previous iterations. So, compared to the 155 HP version of the 1.0 EcoBoost engine, the propulsion system provides a 10% boost in maximum power.
Like other Ford Performance vehicles, the Ford Puma ST Powershift provides thrilling acceleration (0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds) and impressive fuel economy (6.3 l/100 km, 144 g/km CO2) for a midsize SUV. The new Powershift model borrows the Puma ST 1.5 EcoBoost 1.3's transmission, engine, and all of its performance tuning.
